You guys are really missing Belesky and Palmeiri. Those 2 guys picked up the slack when Getz and Perry were getting shut down last year. For a team one win away from the finals. i can't believe so many changes were made. But if there is an internal cap, I can understand not being able to pay for quality secondary scoring. Murray might have made a mistake by bringing in two guys who's best years are clearly behind them.

I had to stop reading at Fowler for Eriksson & Spooner and not only that some more considerations.
Eriksson is almost underrated now. Next to Marchand he is probably the Bruins best winger. Solid 2 way game, plays all situations and is out 20 minutes a game.

Seriously. That alone is a fireable offense. He's a bottom pairing dman at best these days. It's bad enough that they gave him that stupid contract, but Boudreau is overplaying a guy who's a shell of his former self.

Why not?

How many were good scoring shots? You guys scored 4 with 28, 28 shots are ok? Preds don't think so because they lost. How many shots did it take to reach 4 goals - because there is the answer for the Preds of how many were too many.

This incessant rambling about too many shots or not enough is just silly talk. How many shots = a goal? If you don't know the answer how do you know that X amount of shots is too many. Scoring chances yes, I would agree if you give up too many you may be playing with fire, but just a puck thrown at the goalies chest???
